About Pasta Presto – Authentic Italian Food in Clevedon

Pasta Presto was founded by Capri-born chef and food scientist Jessica De Marco, a passionate advocate for authentic Italian cuisine made with honesty, care, and the very best ingredients.

Raised in a family of farmers and cheese producers on the island of Capri, Southern Italy, Jessica grew up surrounded by fresh produce, handmade cheeses, and generations of traditional Italian cooking.

After earning her Culinary Arts qualification in Italy and a BSc (Hons) in Food Science & Nutrition from Bath Spa University, Jessica combined scientific knowledge with artisan skill to create food that’s both nourishing and full of flavour. Her work has been featured in the Bristol Post and on the Bath Spa University website, celebrating her dedication to genuine Italian craftsmanship.

Now based in Clevedon, Jessica runs Pasta Presto – a much-loved local business offering:

  • Fresh handmade pasta and ravioli, made daily in-house

  • Authentic Italian takeaway, cooked fresh and delivered warm to your door.

  • Authentic Italian takeaway and event catering in Clevedon, Nailsea, Yatton, Kingston Seymour, and all surrounding North Somerset villages

Every dish is cooked from scratch using responsibly sourced, high-quality ingredients and follows traditional Italian recipes with a modern, healthy twist.

Jessica is an enthusiastic nutritionist and food scientist with a lifelong commitment to high-quality, naturally tasty, and nutritious food. Her philosophy blends authenticity with a health-conscious approach, ensuring every dish at Pasta Presto is as nourishing as it is delicious.

Alongside pasta, the menu features hand-crafted desserts, speciality focaccia panini, and a variety of meat, fish, and vegetable dishes, as well as gluten-free and vegan options so everyone can enjoy Italian food. Pasta Presto also provides catering for birthdays, office parties, and private events, delivering the warmth of Italian hospitality to every occasion.

Her work and passion have been recognised locally, with Pasta Presto being featured in The Bristol Post, Somerset Live, and by Bath Spa University.
